Was wondering where and what era these are from. Saw a few recently and had no idea. Familiar with zipper back, etc but all those I’ve seen never were marked that way. Thanks

Early P226 production pistols had mags with the "P226" stamp on the floor plate. A friend had an early production one and its mag was stamped so. I had a 226 from either 1987 or 1988 and it came with no floor plate model stamping.

One of my P226s with a JE date code has its 3 mags marked “226” on the base plate.

And these P226-marked floorplates are just slightly longer than later 226 mag floorplates. ____________________________________________________ "I am your retribution." - Donald Trump, speech at CPAC, March 4, 2023

Yep, the marked ones came with the gun. Got one with my 1988 JJ. Slightly longer floor plate. The extra mags I ordered directly from Sig at the time I got the gun were marked on the magazine tube and not the floor plate.
