I used to reload as well, and as a hint, light loads in .38SPL cases are pressure-wise the same as light loads in .357Mag cases. Go with the latter as you can avoid a ring in each chamber that is a bitch to clean out. I used .38 cases for the break-in I mentioned because I had a shitload of them from my S&W Chiefs Special and my Colt Dicks special. -------------------------- Every normal man must be tempted, at times, to spit on his hands, hoist the black flag, and begin slitting throats. -- H L Mencken I always prefer reality when I can figure out what it is. -- JALLEN 10/18/18

A trick for revolver chambers...get an actual chamber brush. One that's sized for your chamber, not the barrel bore. The stainless ones in particular will scrub all the lead out of your cylinder in short order. https://www.amazon.com/Pro-Sho...-Brush/dp/B005KW413U Tornado brushes work pretty well, too. They're not as effective as a really stiff steel chamber brush, but they're probably easier on the bore. I love them for getting plastic out of smoothbore shotgun barrels. https://www.amazon.com/Pro-Sho...orting%2C2188&sr=1-7
