(I would be disinclined to give Walther another chance, anyway. Too many failed executions on my PPS M2, their PPQ lines, and others, for my taste.)

Maybe you do, but I am going by the pistols that the OP mentioned as "micro nine" pistols he might be interested in and the Walther PPS is very close in size to the Shield Plus and the PPS may actually be a bit thinner in the slide.

I have not seen/read about that many problems with the ULM Walthers other than the PPS M2 recall. Ruger has certainly had their share of problems with their pistols too including more than a few recalls.

I have a hellcat and it's a really good pistol. Reasonable trigger, flawless reliability, easy and reasonable parts and optics ready out of the box. My initial suggestion would be a 365XL or xl upper but if you want something completely different then I would go hellcat. I like the G48 but its slim not really micro. Before that gets taken out of context I actually prefer the larger guns but I simply dont see the Gs as comparable to the hellcat and 365 except width.

The ultimate micro is the Rohrbrough R9 smallest RELIABLE 9mm ever made. Get an original 9mm not the garbage Remington 380

I would go with the Hellcat.

If you can find one, a Rohrbaugh R9 might fit the bill. I love mine.

(not my pic)
