I’m guessing you already know this but it’s not a CZ bug. I always say these pistols are like crack. You just can’t get enough of them. If you want to be PC…it’s like shoes for my wife. They just keep showing up. (She has far more

BMRI had planned on carrying it in SA mode and so that’s why I bought the 75 B. After handling it, I found the thumb safety is not quite as easily deactivated as it is with a Browning Hi Power. You can see the difference between the CZ and my BHP, where the BHP’s safety is significantly closer to the grip. No big deal for me, though, because the double action trigger is really good, even better with the spring kit, and I’ll carry it that way.

Legal BeagleI also have problems to engaging the safety with my stubby little thumbs but I love the 75’s look and especially like what OP did with the grips.

If I understood your posts this a regular B so there's no decocker, only a manual thumb safety. So you
do recognize that you will have to manually thumb down the hammer (presumably to the half-cock detent)
while at the same time gently pulling the trigger(!) in order to be able to set a standard thumb safety 75B to shoot using an initial double-action trigger pull. That's not exactly a safe method of decocking with a loaded hot chamber.

BMRYes, I place my left thumb flat between the firing pin and hammer while pressing the trigger. Once the hammer contacts my thumb I take my finger off the trigger and then remove my thumb. The hammer is in half cock position at that point.

mlazarusThis is my preferred method of decocking the standard action. For those who prefer single action carry, it's easy enough to swap to a larger CZ thumb safety that is similar to a 1911 style.
