Which way is the proper direction for mounting?

Or does it make any difference?

The only thing I notice would be the windage marks (front or back).
But what about the front sight. One way the sight distance increases.

If you flip them around, then the adjustments go the other ways.

Thanks for the photo!

I had originally put them on the other way, then started looking online.

Having the windage marks on the front makes sense... and the windage adjustment is now correct.
I originally figured the adjustment would be made with the left (non trigger) hand.

An extra half inch of sight radius isn't going to make any practical difference on a rifle. Especially with backup sights.
