Yesterday I saw a West German P228 in excellent to like new condition with original cardboard box at Premier Arms in Brownsburg, Indiana. Price was around $1100-$1200.

They also have a 10" Ruger Mark II and a Widley .45 Win Mag, among other curiosities.

Wow. Conflicted about that. Don't like that prices are so high, but OTOH, I have one about like that. Few hundred rounds through it. Box, test target, manual.

Nice!

It is good to find a few still around that don't have silly prices.

I was able to find a P228 for 890 and can't wait for it to arrive at my FFL.

About 6 years ago I bought a brand new in box West German P228, for about $450.

I sold it a year or two later for about $500.

I'm still kicking myself...

I know that feeling. Sold a LNIB two tone to our own Q about 10 years ago when I was back in school. I have sold many others that I couldn’t care less about, that was a nice 228 however. Glad to see they’re still out there, gives me hope.
