butterflyeffectSig p320 trigger question?
I have had the 320 now for about 300 rounds and I'm noticing my trigger finger on the finger pad is getting a pinch or a zap when the gun fire's. I have had 2 other people shoot it and experience the same thing. It is very uncomfortable to say the least. I have tried putting less of my finger on the trigger,it helps some but still not pleasant. Has anyone else experienced this?

pblancI assume you have the upgraded version with the low mass, skinny trigger shoe?
I had no trigger sting issues with either of my P320s before the "voluntary upgrade" to deal with the drop-fire issue. Both had the second generation "adverse" trigger. Some people, including Hickok45 had reported trigger sting issues with the first generation trigger.
After I got my full-size P320 .45 ACP back after the upgrade, the first time I shot it I was experiencing trigger sting after the first 20 rounds. That was outdoors on a fairly cold day. I have shot it a few times since and not had the same problem so I am not sure.
My compact P320 9 mm also underwent the upgrade. I have shot it a fair bit and had no trigger sting.

sigfreundI had the effect before the upgrade and went to a straight trigger for that reason. After the upgrade it does not bother me with the new trigger.
Which do you have?

GaryBFI owned one of the early P320s with the curved trigger and it hurt.

YooperSigsMy 320 45 Compact would "roll" my finger during recoil to the point it became painful after about 50 rounds. Swapped the stock trigger for the GGI flat trigger. Problem solved. Trigger pull feels lighter too.

sns3guppyI haven't noticed the trigger slap effect on the P320's before, or after the upgrade. I've been using a P320 a bit for steel shoots, however, and am interested in one of Bruce Grey's triggers. I'd like to hear his thoughts on straight vs. curved, both as a gunsmith/manufacturer/designer, and as a competitor.

soggy_spinoutNever noticed any trigger slap with my old 320C, but then I didn't shoot it all that much before deciding that it wasn't for me (too upright grip angle) and subsequently trading it off.
