After market parts for 239
Bidding on a 239 DAK in 9. Does anyone make triggers etc for the 239. I have GGI and Sig Armorer stuff for my 226s, but I don't think any of their parts fit a 239. Looking to make this a nice carry off duty gun and possibly my EDC at retirement. thanks as always

Sorry, but I think you're SOL. SIG wasn't great about supporting the P239 and neither was the aftermarket world. As far as I can remember, the only aftermarket parts are grips and mag extensions. I would be happy to be wrong here. I have the +1 mag extensions on my three mags and I can't even remember where I got them, maybe Top Gun Supply, but it was a while ago.

Factory parts can be found. You just have to look.

As far as aftermarket stuff, they isn't much if any. The P239 had a pretty vocal following, but it never sold enough numbers (which is what drives support, particularly the aftermarket) to make it profitable for anyone to take interest.

Thanks sir . I had a 239 in the past and did find grips and a guide rod. Nothing else. Top Gun may have some factory parts. Doubt if I get the bid anyhow. Impulse buy...remembering an old friend who sold me my 1st 239..

With the exception of grips 239s were pretty well just right the way they came.

Try the DAK trigger .... Lot of folks here swear by it, I'm trying to get used to it. The reset is kind of long... go past the first one and then the double action pull on the second reset is about 2-3 pounds lighter than your standard double action pull... long, but smooth and lighter.

With practice you can master that trigger and become as competent with it as any other. Eventually you will learn to let the trigger return to the first reset and not even notice the difference in trigger pull weight between the two reset points.
