My Altamont Olive Wood grips came in today for the Nickel M19. Took a few photos of both of my M19s. They are set up the same with target hammer/triggers, spring kit, and grips. Only way they could be better IMO is if they were the same year!

I really like those olive wood grips, that's a good looking setup.

Try it first, you may like it OK. The nickel contrast to the black rear sight stands out really well on a S&W revolver. I carried a 2.5" nickel M19 with no RR or WO for several years, and never had to apply any thing to front sight, completely different from seeing black on black.

Stiab, you are right. I didn't realize how well that combo works. No need for painting! Thanks!

What a beautiful and functional revolver! You did well. My favorite sixgun platform that just fits my hand perfectly. My M-19 with a 4” barrel is my most accurate revolver followed closely by my 2 3/4 version which is ridiculously accurate for its size. An exquisite example - I hope you enjoy it!
