It will join a 3" .327 Fed Mag SP101 as my EDC, or maybe take over. The SP101 has banished the other few already. I've never owned a .44 so it appeals from that angle. Having more than my current 6 rounds capacity appeals, giving 1 and 2 points extra to the .357s. Tough decisions.
Let me make it harder, lol.
If you're wanting a .44 for carry, don't discount the Model 69. It only holds 5, but I find that while the form factor of the L-Frame isn't that much smaller than the N Frame on paper, it's much more carry-able in practice. And I'm sure it's easier on the hip than a SRH!
Here's mine next to my 329. For hiking all day (or several days) you can't beat the light weight of the 329, but is sucks to shoot and it's very bulky on the hip. If I'm going to be spending a lot of time sitting in the car or trying to conceal it under a shirt for regular daily activities, the 69 snubby gets the nod.
Add to that that the action and trigger on mine were just fantastic out of the box, and I'm thoroughly in love with this gun.

LDBWell, it's a +1 bonus. I ordered the 1774 GP100 last night. As much as I think owning a .44 would be fun it isn't as practical. I've already got some 38/357 ammo. It's much less expensive to feed. Less expensive to purchase. Lighter weight. And handles identically to my SP101 so nothing new to learn or practice.

92fstechNice! That's a cool little 7-shooter, and like you said it's basically just a big brother to your SP101. IMO a 2.5-3" barrel is perfect for a revolver that you're going to wear on your belt. I'm sure you'll love it.
