Saw some mention where people said there is a difference between railed and no railed frames for a P229 .22 conversion kit. I don't seem to see any warning for the P226. Does anyone know if a SIG P226 .22 conversion kit is compatible with both or is there a difference also? Thanks

It works on my railed frame. Maybe someone else will post that it works on their rail less frame?

My W German non-railed 226 works great with the .22 conversion kit. My wife used it for an OpSpec class. _________________________ “Remember, remember the fifth of November!"

The dust cover on the P229 has different lengths depending on it being a rail gun or a non rail gun. That is why there are two different 22LR conversion kits That is the only auto loader with that idiosyncrasy ------------------------------------------------------------------ NRA Benefactor . . . I finally found the original box for my 226 conversion kit. The part number is 1200353. It just says Conversion Kit 226. There is nothing about rail, or no rail. My gun does not have a rail.
