So I bought a DR920 a few weeks ago, and on Thursday I couldn't pass up the deal my local pusher offered me on an MR920 Combat. Shadow is discontinuing their Combat line and now only offering their Foundation and ultra Gucci Elite lines. My dealer got a deal from his distributor on the remaining Combat models, ordered a bunch in and sold them at $300 less than MSRP. Evidently he was telling the truth since the Combat versions are no longer listed on Shadow's website. Was able to get out to the range tonight and try it out. Overall impressed with it and how it shoots. Shoots to point of aim for me. The, "L" backstop seems to work best for me on this while the, "N" backstop worked best on my DR920. I like the magwell funnel on the DR920, I don't on the shorter grip of the MR920, feel like it grounds my hand on the grip. Very glad I read the manual and watched a couple of videos on Shadow's website about their recommended 200 round break-in period. While my DR was flawless, my MR tonight had a couple of hiccups. It did not want to chamber the first round off from the magazine. It would get stuck with the round on the feedramp and the slide not going into battery. No amount of tapping, dropping the magazine or finessing of the slide would make the gun go into battery. I had to drop the magazine, pull back on the slide and let the round fall out the magwell to clear it. For the first 3 magazines through it, I had to, "Barney Load" the first round in the chamber then insert the magazine. It would function fine for the remaining 14 rounds in the magazine, it just would not chamber the first round. After 3 magazines, it would chamber the first round if I slingshotted the slide and there were no issues afterwards. Also not a fan of the Magpull magazines on a gun without the Maxwell fitted, they basepad hangs way below the bottom of the grip. Overall I'm impressed with the gun. Points naturally for me which no Glock has ever done. Also impressed with their optics mounting system which was the reason I bought the DR920 in the first place. If you're interested, look around for one of the remaining Combat versions while they're still available. My daughter can deflate your daughter's soccer ball.

Forgive my ignorance, bouncing between the 2 threads: DR = G17 MR = G19 At least in size/footprint comparison? The Enemy's gate is down.

Now I kinda want one. Lol I picked up a psa dagger a few weeks back and seriously love the feel of the grip and how controllable it is vs a standard gen 3 glock. Fit and finish are on par for the price but it shoots great and so far (200 rounds) has ran flawlessly. I wouldn't mind something on the higher end of the spectrum though.

Yes. They also have the CR920 which is Glock 43 size but uses their proprietary magazines for a 10 or 13 round capacity. My daughter can deflate your daughter's soccer ball.
