So, my buddy wanted a 365 and although I loved the gun and it carried really well, I am partial to my 1911’s. I traded him the 365 and a couple hundred dollars for this very clean STI Shadow in 9mm. The little pistol ran everything I put into it yesterday including my lightly loaded 147gr subsonic loads. These particular guns were made for Texas police officers with no snag sights for deep cover operations. The Heine sights are set very low into a gutter in the top of the slide. It is slick and accurate. It is a little bigger and I give up 2 rounds, but I shoot it so much better.

Really nice gun. Congrats.

If the gun is reliable and you are comfortable with the manual of arms, why not?

I'm not really a big 1911 fan, but man - that looks nice! Real nice!

My opinion - GREAT TRADE!

I've never seen or even heard of those before! Of course, I don't get out too much, either.

Nice looking 1911, and, as best I can tell from the photos, a 3 or 3.5 barrel, right?

Great trade, I think.

I'm in florida. Near Tallahassee. With cash or trades. Can travel. Lol

Great trade- never heard of that one but have lusted after the similar nighthawk for a while- that one would work!!! I shoot the 1911 so well, I sold them all. Don't ask. I don't know what I was thinking!

Congratulations! If you get other cool gear for it, post it up for us and keep us updated on how it performs if you don't mind....

Fine looking gun. Always a good deal trading for a much less common gun. The365 is great in its own right, but if you shoot this gun better, its a winning situation.
Stay safe!
