I'm still looking at vertical shoulder holsters.

I did buy a Alien Gear belly strap. I already own a few Alien IWB holsters so this will be a good option for the Kahr.

I rarely use a shoulder holster here in SC. But in the winter, or a long drive, or anticipating a long wait for my wife shopping, or feeling like Mike Hammer my Sig P226 goes in a Miami Classic.

They usually arrive in about 3 to 4 days....

Either he's a distributor for Galco or he ripped off all their designs. He's even using some of their pictures

You guys are spending my money, or trying to.... I’ve always wanted a Galco Miami. And they make one for the P30.

What am I doing? I'm talking to an empty telephone

This is a horizontal carry shoulder holster made by Kirkpatrick Leather, but after following this thread https://sigforum.com/eve/forums...010082674#2010082674 I thought what the hell, give it a try. Halfway through the ten week order time.

This thread has got me thinking. For years I wanted to purchase a Galco Executive shoulder holster system for my 642. Well, I have stopped dawdling and I want one now! But....it looks like they stopped making them. If anyone knows where I can find one anyway, it would be appreciated. Thank you!

I spent too much time researching vertical shoulder holsters for a 1911 pistol online yesterday but I finally concluded that the safest bet was the Galco Vertical Holster System 4.0. I have several other Galco holsters including a couple horizontal shoulder rigs so I have a good idea of the quality.

My thought as well. I have one from here. Very high quality & comfortable.

+1 for Wright, although I don’t have a shoulder rig from them.

I have a Galco Miami that holds a PPK. It’s awesome.

As far as sweeping people, I’m more comfortable with that than with people standing behind me.

Stoner Holsters makes a really innovative vertical shoulder holster (The Stormer) that has a pivot, allowing you to draw the pistol in a horizontal position.

Here is a link to The Stormer and here is a video showing how it works.

I have looked long and hard at shoulder holsters and always thought the horizontal will draw best, but probaby not hide my 5" Sig. The vertical holsters have their own limitations. The Stoner seems to combine the best of both worlds, but I haven't used one to confirm.

Galco has indeed stopped production of the Executive. However if you go to Galco's website and look under shoulder holster components the "Half Harness (Half harness) used in the Executive is still available. Just order that along with the holster component (Shoulder holster ) and you've got the closest thing to the Executive possible.
Hope that helps!

Ted Blockers are the best I ever used. Much better craftsmanship and no plastic junk like Galco.

For Beretta owners, the Beretta web store has some excellent Italian-made shoulder holsters.

At a time when I had a nerve in my hip bothering me, rendering my normal IWB/OWB hip carry difficult, I got one of these:

I've found it to be an excellent, well-made, comfortable and reasonably ergonomc holster. Best, Jon
