Hello all. I'm looking for recommendations for the purchase of 220 .45 caliber magazines. I need 8 round and 10 round mags. What say ye?

I have had no issues with ACT mags at under $20.
I use them in my 10mm. Early on Some folks state they had cracking issues with them but that problem seems to have been resolved.
But I also have factory mags as well.

I try to wait for sales or find them on the forum. I averaged about $22 each for the dozen or so I have.

I've gotten most of mine from eBay or the classifieds in this forum.

I had to delete my previous post because I can't find any ACT 8-rnd mags at any of the usual sources...were they discontinued? They used to be my favorite 8-rounders and were almost 50% cheaper than factory mags and worked just as well. Either way, I wouldn't bother with 10-rounders, but that's all up to you.

FWIW I had issues with the ACT mags. But I seem to be a very small minority and that was some time ago, so as was said above maybe its now 100%.

I have Sig and ACT mags and both brands run flawlessly. I second Greg Cote.
