This Karma is for all SIG Forum Members without any restrictions, except you must reside in the USA. I have a Galco SS2 Shoulder Holster System in tan leather available for a Karma. The Galco stock number on the plastic bag is SS249. Bar Code # is 601299132726 It is Left Handed. Horizontal shoulder holster system with a thumb break holster under the right armpit. Double magazine carrier on the left side, magazine base pads at the bottom. Leather straps/harness across the back. Additionally, the double magazine carrier has a tie off point at the bottom, for attaching a keeper to your belt. Tan leather, in what appears to be as new condition. It may have had a SIG inserted in the holster previously, but it looks, feels, and smells as new. The Galco plastic bag says it fits SIG P226, Browning BDA .45, SIG P220, SIG P228, SIG P229. I am guessing here that this holster would fit the older SIG/Browning pistols without an accessory rail, and those typically also don't have a beavertail. Will it fit newer railed/tailed equipped models? My experience is no, it will not. Excessive bulk on the frame dustcover with the accessory rail type/style frame. On or about September 1st, I will pick a winner using a selection method of my choice. I will ship it at my expense to any USA State and I will be using the US Postal Service for shipment. Post here in this thread if you want it! ***Add a short paragraph in your post about you personally training/teaching a new shooter*** If I have significant trouble contacting the Karma winner, after a reasonable period of time, I will select an alternate winner. This message has been edited. As a left-hander with a number of P22X pistols, I'd love to be included. Way back when we were first married, and I was short of good judgment, I attempted to teach my wife to shoot with a 642 Airweight, which I bought just for her. I didn't know at the time that even I didn't like shooting it, due to it's excessive snapitude. She, being cross-eye dominant and none to pleased with the pistol's handling quickly abandoned the effort. She did however warm up to my P229 and the trip was salvaged. Thank you for offering this generous karma. "We're all travelers in this world. From the sweet grass to the packing house. Birth 'til death. We travel between the eternities."

Count me in, as I am hopelessly left handed, and have numerous 226/220 Sigs! A superior pilot is best defined as one who uses his superior judgment to avoid situations requiring the use of his superior skill.

It seems here in this thread, that there is an underlying reading comprehension issue. This part here from my original post: "Add a short paragraph in your post about you personally training/teaching a new shooter" Very odd, I thought it was a simple request. I guess I missed that part. I was so excited to see the left handed part. I have taught my children and some friends to shoot. But never anything formal. If you ever put my name on the list, please remove it. I will work on my reading comprehension. I am sorry to have disappointed you.

Ironworker, I edited my original post so the request for a short paragraph about training/teaching a new shooter was much more visible. NRA Benefactor Life Member NRA Instructor USPSA Chief Range Officer

Lefty here with a new 40th anniversary Sig 226 that would go well with the shoulder holster. Also have a 220 for it. I’ve taught lots of people. Friends, kids, coworkers. I think it’s our duty to proliferate our sport so the next generation can enjoy and protect it. ----------------------------------------- Roll Tide! Several times a year, I get asked to take foreign company executives, typically from China, Japan, and sometimes England to the gun range. I generally start out with a Ruger 1022 and a 10 round magazine and a sound suppressor. We start with steel plate targets and then progress to Shasta soda cans, which give a lot of bang for the buck and always bring smiles. Depending on which neighbors ask me, I will either progress to a 9 mm submachine gun of the MP five variety or a suppressed Uzi. The Chinese shooter seemed to be the most enthusiastic. The Japanese are always very fascinated by my grandfather‘sArisaka rifle and war souvenirs to include part of the Japanese zero/hero that hit his vessel during the battle of the Philippines. And the British are always paranoid to the police are going to come. As for the SI shoulder holster karma. Please count me in. On a final reminder, we’re all getting older, so remember get your yearly check ups and watch your heart health. 18Z50 .This message has been edited. Last edited by: 18Z50,

Thanks cee_Kamp The holster set up would work nicely for me. I've taken a number of friends and family members for an "introduction to shooting" session, leading several to get their carry licenses (after getting more formal training from qualified instructors). ______________________ Live free or die...
