Second that. I left the mags for my PX4 Compact and new MecGar 18-round 92FS mags fully loaded for 2-3 weeks. Now I can insert a fully-loaded mag into the gun with the slide closed and get it seated properly. I can also top off the mag after chambering a round by hand...er, thumb. Though I still use the UpLula for loading.

I second the pink (or yellow) Uplula loader. They work great and are quite universal. I also have 2 other brands ... one that I inherited with my Sig 228 that is rather mission specific in that it only loads P228 magazines,(it might be made by Caldwell) and I also have the ETS loader which is very fast, but seems to only work some of the time.
Tip: Put the Uplula on a carabiner and attach it to your belt when not loading mags. They tend to grow legs.

If you are on the fence about getting a MagLula UpLula, they are currently on sale for $27.70 shipped. If you search the site, you can get them in different colors: yellow, pink, orange, etc.
I have a 9mm uplula and it is great. I just ordered another one from gooutdoorgear (purple, so I can SEE it in with all my other stuff). I liked the free shipping and no Texas sales tax, thanks for the link. This message has been edited. Last edited by: QB Too,
On another note, I found that if I leave my P365 and P320 mags loaded between range sessions, they loosen up rather quickly.

I saw a How To video on the UPLULA and noticed they used a the small teat on the back to help kick out rounds when emptying a mag - I have a couple mags (22TCM) that can be a bitch to get the first round to come out.
Uplulas also make a fantastic last minute (maybe too last minute at this point) Christmas gift for any shooters on your list.
"The people hate the lizards and the lizards rule the people." "Odd," said Arthur, "I thought you said it was a democracy." "I did," said Ford, "it is." "So," said Arthur, hoping he wasn't sounding ridiculously obtuse, "why don't the people get rid of the lizards?" "It honestly doesn't occur to them. They've all got the vote, so they all pretty much assume that the government they've voted in more or less approximates the government they want." "You mean they actually vote for the lizards." "Oh yes," said Ford with a shrug, "of course." "But," said Arthur, going for the big one again, "why?" "Because if they didn't vote for a lizard, then the wrong lizard might get in."
