How "shootable" is the MPX 4.5" ? Login/Join

They are cool as heck and I find myself wanting one, but haven't been able to convince myself to buy it since it is ultimately a 6# pistol with a 4.5" barrel.

There is no place to rent or buy one around here, so I have to rely on the in-store feel of the gun and others' opinions. For those who own or have shot them, do you find the accuracy to be significantly better than that of a full size pistol? 30 rounds is cool, but that's a heck of a big package unless there's a pretty significant performance bump.

Thanks

They are very shootable. The recoil is so easy it feels like a .22. If you’ve ever shot a blow back PCC like the Scorpion, the MPX will ruin it for you going forward.

Accuracy is great. I often find myself doing fast pairs at 30’, which isn’t far for that gun I know, but ripping one ragged hole in the target.

The only complaint I may have is that triggers seem to vary widely. My trigger is like a decent milspec, not great, trigger but my buddies 8” is a little worse. There’s aftermarket options to cure that now or try to handle the one you’re gonna buy first.
