Hello all! I am new here. I have a early 5 digit SA prefixed P239 in 9mm that I love. Is there a consensus on where the early unmarked frames were made?

There seems to be a cloud of confusion and of course SIG Customer service is no help. Are the unmarked early frames German made and just not marked or US made? TIA

I can’t really help here; my P239/9mm is also SA prefixed, but mine was purchased while stationed in Germany in 1997 and is marked “MADE IN GERMANY” on the frame, and bears all the requisite German proof marks.
