Just placed an order for the new limited edition Sig P320 AXG Scorpion. This is the first aluminum grip module striker fired P320 and it is getting excellent reviews. Its a bit pricey at $1,129 MSPR but it comes with 3 17 round magazines and a very nice lockable case with a challenge coin and a certificate from Sig Custom Works. Hoping to receive it in the Dec/Jan timeframe if not sooner.

Congrats! You'll have to let us know how you like it once you get it. I plan on getting one too, but not right now because people want 1500-2000 on gunbroker for them... I can wait. Saw one at a local gun show a couple weeks ago and they wanted 1599 for it.

Congrats. I too plan on acquiring one and my dealer has placed an order for me. The distributors had the entire stock allocated soon after its release and probably before that. I can and will be patient as I see no reason to pay above msrp. I was able to see the MAP and dealer cost while we were hunting for it online, and my dealer is extremely good to me. I have an idea what he will charge me once he can get his hands on one for me.

I wasn't going to bother...but now that they're selling them with a coin, that changes everything (not).

I'm stuck into CZ's at the moment anyway...so probably won't handle the new sig for some time to come.

It's good to see them getting positive reviews, though.

The pricing for the Scorpion is stupid. At least my LGS was willing to sell one to me for MSRP.

I must admit that it feels pretty good in the hand. The grip panels are near paper THIN; almost seem like a joke in that sense. To me it would've made more sense to simply texture the aluminum, but that probably would've been more expense to manufacture. We got our first one in from a distributor (our direct-from-SIG order has yet to be addressed by Newington), and the alloy does have a rather satisfying feel to it.

If only it came in black instead of poop...

I would have preferred brunt bronze like my P320 X-Compact but I'll take FDE. Not a fan of all black handguns.

While I'm waiting for my P320 AXG Scorpion, I ordered the GoGun gas pedal takedown lever and a FDE Kydex holster from MIE Production to accommodate both the gas pedal takedown lever and the Olight PL Mini 2 rail light. I have the same set up on my P320 X-Compact and absolutely love it.

Was searching GB for parts for my Danish P320 clone build and stumbled across one with a buy now listing with a price of $1065 plus shipping. With the prices they're going for, I couldn't pass on it.

My P320 AXG Scorpion arrived yesterday and pictures don't do it justice. It looks amazing in person. Managed to take it to the range today and was totally impressed with its performance. Not a single issue to report. I did give it a though cleaning before leaving for the range as I do with all of my new guns. It's too bad there is an ammo shortage as I could have shot all day long. The recoil is less than my P320 X-Compact and my AXG shoots very flat. I absolute love this gun. I used Blazer 147 gain 9mm ammo and my target was set a 7 yards. I always shoot combat style dumping my magazines as fast as I can. Anyway for those of you who may be sitting on the fence my advise to you is take the plunge any buy the AXG Scorpion. You will not be disappointed.
