Trying to install the Holosun on a Sig. New gun and sights . Went to u tube just to make sure I had all the information. #1 they tell me the screws are on the underside of the slide. No big deal but then I try to take the screws out, from the top, using their small wrench and find out both screw are stripped. Well that blows my day of being an armor. Any ideas on a fix?

The heads are stripped, or the threads? Are they Allen heads? Sometimes I've had success using an appropriately-sized torx bit driven into the screw head to get it loose. You might also apply heat to loosen any thread locker that might be on there.

The heads are striped. They are so tight I going to have a problem getting them out. I'll try your suggestions and if you come up with anything else please let me know.

If you can't get them to turn the only other option I can think of is to drill them out. I wasn't familiar with the 365XL slide plate assembly, so I did a little looking...if this reddit thread is correct, breaking the heads off will allow to to simply lift off the cover, so you wouldn't have to drill the full length of the screw. I'd definitely recommend a drill press over a handheld, if you have access to one.

Once again, you might do a little more research to confirm this as it's just some thread I found on the internet and I have no personal experience or knowledge to confirm it, but give it a look: https://www.reddit.com/r/P365x...stripped_the_screws/

I've had issues with getting the factory screws out of 365 slides. The last set I did were badly stripped and needed to be drilled out.

My guess is that they're using threadlocker that might be defeated by heat.

I got to the point yesterday where I was feed up trying to gt the screws out. I really didn't want to drill them out and take a chance on damaging the
gun so I put them back in the box and returned them. Thanks to everyone for their suggestions. I'll tackle this issue at later date.
