P6 refinish project
I recently purchased a P6 that is in need of refinishing. I’m looking for recommendations of a company with good reputation of quality work. If you have had something refinished, post a pic of their work please.

CCR (Cummings Custom Refinishing) is a longstanding Sig Forum member and they offer a variety of great options, frequently with discounts during special sales. Here's my Sig P220 SAO that was refinished with their Cera-Hide for the frame and slide, and CPII on the steel parts for contrast.

Calling Sig to have them do the slide in Exeter is also an option.

I agree to look into CCR.
Brad and Mary have done a lot of parts and a few full firearms for me.

I took this well-worn WG P226 in a trade.

I disassembled the pistol and sent in the parts I wanted done.

Had CCR do the frame and black parts in Cerahide and the silver parts in CPII.

They also refinished my P239 SAS.

I then decided to get the slide in CPII.

They've done a few Glock slides and my LCP as well.

The LCP was done in their original Cereaplate..

I also recommend CCR for your finish needs.

I have only used the CP11 nickel finish but I have had quite a bit done. Several Glock slides, a few mags and Bbls and at least 10 sets of controls.

The CP11 finish is very tough. I have yet to have any of it show any kind of wear. Everything looks as good today as some of it did 10 years ago when CCR did the work.

If I need anything finished CCR will do the work. They are and have been that dependable.

They do what they say they will do for what they say they will do it for.

There is no one else these days I would trust to refinish my classic SIG.

I don’t know who refinished my P-6, but I would certainly use them again. Bought the gun used (already refinished) installed all 225 springs, and finally added these grips from Grips4u.

For aluminum alloy frame SIGs, my preference is always CPII upper / Cera-Hide lower, as CCR does not plate alloy frames. For all steel guns, CPII the whole thing. Cera-Hide is good, but CPII is way way better.
