I have a P220 Elite stainless in .45 and it is one of my favorites to shoot. Been thinking about a P220 in 10mm though.

I have a Stainless Elite and a 20 year old standard P220. Both are great shooters. I think it boils down to cost of ammo. If you like to shoot a lot, 45ACP will be much cheaper.

There are better deals on .45s than on 10mms out there these days, so going with a .45 might be a good opportunity to try different things and see what really appeals to you. Then again, I'm a big fan of the Match series .45s, so picking up a 10mm just like them came just about naturally.

Go with the 10mm. You already have one might as well add another.

.38 Super, but 9mm is cheaper anywhere it can be found.

10mm over the 45 Auto. Cost isn't everything.

MY favorite was the Equinox model. The one I had was gorgeous and shot perfectly, as all Sigs do.

Big fan of the P-220 platform.

The new P-220 10mm SAO really intrigues me.

I vote for the 10mm.

This is exactly the answer I was thinking (that and a 7.65mm Para P220 is surprisingly fun). Kinda like asking a chocolate addict if Dark or Milk Chocolate is best. Wink

Yes you should get one of each. But, remember the 45 needs to be in a stainless frame like the 10mm. That is if you want a simalar "feel" in each gun. I am not sure if Sig still makes the 45 in all stainless.
