Single Stack Pistols
The Sig P225 is one of my favorite pistols. This guy I follow posted a video about single stacks.

I love single stack pistols. Of all the handguns i own only the P320 im holding for my wife is double stack and it feels like a single stack to be honest.

I gotta admit, even though i love a classy 1911, my favorite and best shooting is the P220.

I did have a little fling with Hi-powers but even they are quite slender for a double stack.

Mine include
1911s
P220s
P6
Various .22LR pistols (doesnt quite count but still single stack)

10 years to retirement! Just waiting!

1911s for the history, but find SS pistols other then pocket pistols, a waste of grip space when a lot of double stacks are damn near the same size.

The P220 comes to mind, but it is hard to beat the versatility of a Desert Eagle.

Same here. I shoot my P320s, P228, P30s, P2000SKs and 92FS just fine. But my hand just sings when I grab the Walther PPS, Classic or M2, or the P365. But especially the Walthers. They’re just perfect for me.

I got the extra capacity spring and follower kit for the 8rd mag to make it a 9 and I no longer carry the 365, despite the extra 3 rds. 13 vs. 10 is a big deal, no doubt, but I handle the Walther enough better to make me willing to carry it even though I’m giving up rounds.

I rarely carry double stacks anymore.

Grew up with 1911s. Early 70s bought a Hi-power. Felt like holding a 2x4 (same as Glocks).
Sig P225/P6 and S&W 39-2 feels very natural my hand.
If I felt the need for a double stack, a Sig 320 will work.

The P225 if it has to be a 9mm. Toss up between the P220 and 1911 Commander if it has to be a 45acp.

1911 Big Grin To be honest I have never been much of a double stack magazine fed gun fan.

OOP's I think I offended my M11A1. Cool

I shoot single-stack pistols much better than the wider double-stackers.

G43 is my current favorite, but I’ve kinda got a thing for 9mm 1911s too.

My all time favorite single stack is the P6. (Yes, the police trade-in version, not the P225)

I briefly had a P226. I sold it and bought the P225.

That guy's HK P7M8 looks great!

I'm a fan. My EDC gun is a P245, and once upon a time I used to carry a P6 (still have it). I also enjoy 1911s, my new Ruger Mk2, and if I ever find a 92FS Compact Type M in a store for a reasonable price, it'll be coming home with me.

There's something about a longer, thinner grip that just fits my hand better than the more bulbous double-stack grips. There is such a things as too thin, though...or too short. I can't shoot a P239 to save my life, because the trigger reach is too short. Same for most of the micro-compacts like the LCP/Kel-Tec, and even the G43 and the Shield. But a full-size single-stack, especially ones designed around the .45, are just sweet.
