AndybRomeo M17
Sig released some of the new M17 Romeo sights and I received mine today and just got it installed. Managed to get the last one in stock at Sig. I've had the M17 commemorative for a while and it uses its own mounting screw different from the commercial M17/320. I like the reticle. It's a big circle with a dot in the middle, I'll try and add a pic later on.

DaBigBRAwesome! I think this optic is a big deal for Sig.

CD228Is the stock front sight is usable? It looks like it is and that it's a standard height is that true.

mdblantonCongrats on snagging one. I watched some reviews after SHOT Show. Looks like a solid optic. I’m a big fan of sealed emitters.

DanHNice. How much was it?

Slippery PeteIf they got this one right I might pick one up and keep the M17. I'm keeping an eye on it from a distance. Curious to see how it does for you.

DaBigBRIn stock at the mothership for $809.
https://www.sigsauer.com/romeo-m17.htmlNote that they are very clear that this version is for the single screw milspec slides only.

Yup front sight is still visible.
I like this optic a lot. I pick it up much faster than an RMR. I think Sig has a winner with this one.

Slippery PeteWhoa $800, that's more than the pistol. Says it's for single screw versions. I'm pretty sure I had to do 2 screws to install the adapter plate I had.

DanHThese are for the Military Guns. These were announced at SHOT Show that they'll be working on one to fit the civilian M17/M18, but it hasn't happened yet, it seems.

DaBigBRI'm curious if one of the bigger slide milling operations will start drilling 320 slides for this screw. As long as the slides are otherwise dimensionally the same, it would be a pretty simple operation.

One thing I noticed on the one I handled at NRAAM was that the baseplate with the rear sight appeared to be all one piece with the optic body, so it will only fit the M-17 style of cut where the rear sight comes off with the plate. I was kind of disappointed by this, as it prevents one from ever fitting on any of my 320s. I imagine a different model with the correct footprint wouldn't be too hard to design, though. Maybe in black or gray, too, instead of baby-puke brown

.

There are quite a lot of 320s with the integrated rear sight/plate slide, though.
