My .35 has a KKM .357 barrel in it, with the option of shooting less expensive .40.

To me, .40 screams P229.

All my P229's and P226's in .40 are currently wearing .357 barrels, including the legions. They can also shoot the 9mm with nothing more than a barrel swap.

I dunno...I don't have any problems shooting .40S&W out of my Gen4 G23s. I've yet to see the need for a full-size, though I do own a G22 (it however spends most of its time hooked up to a MechTech upper. But I do like how much milder my P229 is when it goes 'bang' shooting the same ammo.
