P7M13 Slim
One of the few guns I regret getting rid of was a P7.

It sounds like there is a modern day M7P13 that is going to be produced. As long as it’s not too expensive I’ll be interested.

Pretty wild it’s lighter than a Glock 19.

Edit: Bummer it’s going to be $3500 to start. Nevermind.

For a modern gun that’s really not a BBQ gun or high end 1911 that’s quite pricy. I was thinking mid $2500 for a new gun but oh well. The name holds cachet for many.

And mags still run $150-250 IF you can find them.

I was just messing with you. The reality is sub 4K for what amounts to a custom P7M13 made by a boutique passion driven creator is surprisingly inexpensive to me.

Now pragmatically it’s crack smokin’ money and too rich for my blood but I get it.

I mean, compared to the price for an original P7M13 it's relatively inexpensive and while I regret selling some of my guns, the M13 just was too big (and by this I want to clarify, it was too fat). This really is interesting but I hate the rail (but I can't have everything).

I don't carry my M8 that often anymore because of capacity, but this is very interesting.

Unless things have changed you can pretty much custom build your P7 at P7Pro. So IIRC you can get it sans rail.

Yeah the guy kinda danced around that subject.

They should partner with Mec-Gar to come out with affordable mags for their guns.

The originals are cool, though I don’t shoot any of my P7 pistols much these days.

The guy's bringing back both double-stack and single-stack versions of the P7. I've still got a stash of single-stack mags from the West German Police surplus days, their longer barreled version kind of intrigues me, I'm interested to see how the new cuts actually work when it comes to redirecting heat away from the shooter's hand....and now I guess I'll see if I win the lottery or something.

Such an awesome gun. I have a near-mint P7M8 Chantilly that I refuse to shoot but I would love to have a clone that I would. However, these seems too pricey as well.

Cars are made to be driven, wine is made to drink, toys are made to be played with and guns are made to be shot.

That is one of my philosophies of life. I happily shoot my P7s from time to time. Love ‘em’. Smile

I can’t do it, haha. If I had more than one like you, I probably would. Especially if one wasn’t in that great of a condition. I also have a West German P226 in factory nickel that I won’t shoot. Probably the only two guns I own that I won’t shoot.

I'm with cslinger. I shot my super rare guns in the past and enjoyed them greatly. Still have a few factory Nickel SIGs I haven't shot. Not because I want to preserve them, but because I have found motivation to go to the range for over 2 years. Roll Eyes

I actually have no problem shooting rare guns either. I just own a lot of competition guns that shoot so much better. They are the guns I end up bringing to the range.

Any reason you haven’t wanted to shoot lately? I find that I only care to go shooting at the range when my 16-year old son wants to go. I wish I had a nice outdoor setup like hickok45 and I would shoot all the time. Smile

The reason I don't like shooting my P7 PSP is the top of the trigger shoe has 2 sharp points that like to dig into my finger when I'm shooting it. It's fun for the novelty, but the only way I'm doing any long range sessions with it, I'm putting a bandaid on my finger where it digs in.
