Yours look like Hogue, but just like Nills, they have their signature inside the grips. Yours just have the "X" that I can see on one of the inside surfaces.

If these turn out to be hogue… looks like we found a void in Q’s knowledge! That must be worth some karma points.

Think I identified the grips in the og post. Saw a similar pair on gb, bought them out of curiosity. There was no packaging or brand mentioned in the listing, but they showed up in their original packaging.

Not Hogue. That is original packaging of Hogue, but the grips aren’t Hogue. There’s a reason seller didn’t say who the grips’ manufacturer was.

Btw, direct Ken to this thread.

You are no doubt, referring to Maj. William O. "Bill" Drollinger of Castroville, CA. I bought a good number of original WW ll "bits & pieces" from him in years gone by.

Had never heard the robbery story before.

These are Hogue products.

ALL old product is not tagged on the inside Hogue.
In the past 8-10 yrs product is tagged. As of last month ALL older production machine has been taken out of service. New machinery accommodates the ability of tagging.
The halfmoon checkering is well over 10 yrs old

Hope this helps. If there is anything we can help with, I'm available
