Will a P229 X-Change Kit for 40 S&W, part number CALX-229-40-BSS-10, work on a new production P229 stainless elite made in December 2016? What possible issues could be expected? | ||

Will it also work on a new M11A1...which is a P229 as I understand it? The mags that came with my M11A1 read P229-1. Rod 5th Spl Forces, Air Force Bird Dog FAC, lll Corps RVN 69-70.... A .40 cal exchange kit will work on any .40cal frame which would be true for a 229-1 M11A1. Normal a tiny few don't and need fitting so exceptions apply, but Sig should solve any of those. “So in war, the way is to avoid what is strong, and strike at what is weak.” | |||
