Went with a Vortex SpitFire AR Prism 1x on my 300BO Pistol. Haven't had a chance to shoot it yet.

It was the first thing I wanted to build after my relocation.

In that price range, I like the HOLOSUN 503 series green dot.

You have the options of the a circle dot like EOTech, or to change it to a dot only. The profile is same as T1/T2 Aimpoints and will fit any mounts that work for those, I prefer Scalarworks mounts.

after reading this I just ordered a Romeo 5 for my ar pistol lots of great reviews and at 145 bucks tough to beat the price. I have a trijicon mro but the are spendy for a red dot.

I have Romeo5's on two guns and they work great. I got one from Primary Arms and the other from, I think, PSA. Around $120 if you can find it on sale.

My Romeo 5 just came in, and they are nice, small stylish and the fit and finish look great. I will put it to the test on my AR pistol. So far I'm impressed. it cowitness with the magpul sights.

Quick update.
My FFL/LGS can't get Romeo5'S right now and were completely out of all entry-level optics EXCEPT for a Sight-Mark Ultra Shot Plus reflex sight. Not wanting to wait on shipping from an on-line source I went with the Sight-Mark.
Will try to get to the range to sight it in this week.
