The X Carry grip is already the same size as a compact frame. The only difference is the cutout that allows the 15 round magazines to fit flush. I’ve been contemplating taking my extra X grip module and cutting out for the compact magazine, but the 17 just doesn’t stick out that far. There is another thread that list a company doing a cutdown, but the chop and stippling will be $400. Looks good, but I’ll just use a regular compact grip instead.

I was finally able to get around to cutting one down after seeing all the threads about it.

IMO it isn't worth the trouble. The difference is minimal as the X carry is very close to the compact frame as it is.

Enough isn't removed to make a difference in concealment.
