P320 X trigger replacement? Login/Join

I recently shot my new P320X full-size for the first time and I just don’t love the flat face trigger.

If I understand correctly it is an “X” trigger, but I’m not exactly sure how that differs from a non X trigger.

That being said, I think I’d like to swap it out for a curved trigger… does that mean I go to a standard trigger, or is there a curved X?

I also learned the hard way that the mages from my old 1st Gen 320 9mm are NOT compatible. Imagine my surprise when, after a nice combat reload I could not depress the mag release. Lol. After several minutes staring at it I saw the difference in the base plate. Time to break out the belt sander, I think.

Never heard of the 'X' Trigger...I don't believe that's actually a thing.

There's really only two Triggers for the P320; the Curved Trigger and the Flat (Straight) Trigger, though there is a 'Skeletonized' version of the Flat Trigger as well. Wink

A regular curved trigger or any of the after market varieties should work just fine. No special X trigger.

Ok. The website listed “X trigger” so I assumed it was different. If not, that’s easy. Thanks!

It is different. It's straight. The standard trigger is curved. They are still interchangeable.

SIG basically offers three Triggers for the P320:

P320 CURVED TRIGGER --> https://www.sigsauer.com/trigg...anese-phosphate.html

P320 FLAT TRIGGER --> https://www.sigsauer.com/p320-flat-trigger.html

P320 FLAT SKELETONIZED TRIGGER --> https://www.sigsauer.com/p320-...s-steel-trigger.html

The Flat Skeletonized Trigger is available in a few different finishes; Black, Gold & Nickel

None are referred to as the 'X' Trigger...But the 'Flat Triggers' are the ones that come in the X-Series Pistols! Wink

They are referred to as "X Series Straight" in the Specs for the pistols.

Ok, so I can either find a factory curved trigger or find an aftermarket curved trigger.

Any aftermarket triggers worth considering?

Armory Craft. I have the Flat style in my p-320 but they also make a slighty curved model. Adjustable for pre and over travel. Very happy with the performance

I believe your trigger pull will increase as you will give up leverage that is gained from the flat trigger. Are you ok with adding a pound or so?

I was happy with the trigger on my first generation P320’s (had 3 at one point), so probably wouldn’t be bothered.

Sig's factory/standard curved trigger is a great trigger and I have not found any other curved trigger/aftermarket to change anything other than the amount taken out of your wallet, from my experience.
