I have a Sig P225A1 due in at my local dealer. Can you suggest a good IWB holster? Thanks, John

I always recommend Hidden Hybrid Holsters. Versatile IWB/OWB, well made, dependable, not expensive. http://www.hiddenhybridholsters.com/ You can't truly call yourself "peaceful" unless you are capable of great violence. If you're not capable of great violence, you're not peaceful, you're harmless. NRA Benefactor/Patriot Member

I recently picked up a P225A1 that I’m planning to use for my summer carry. I chose a Milt Sparks VM2 (you want the 229 non-railed model). Feels great with the P225. Great holsters, I’ve been using them for 15 years now. I may try a Criterion, but I’ve had such good luck with the VM2’s I just stuck with what I know, for now.

The best holster is a JM Custom Kydex 'George' AIWB, I sold my 225 but I still have a like-new 'George' holster. If you're interested you can have it for $60 shipped.

Had a 225A1. A classy, well made IWB is Garrett Holsters. Kydex outer shell and a nice leather liner. Great fit, quiet, easy on the finish.

I'm also using a Milt Sparks VMII holster for the 225A1. I'm currently using a VM2 designed for the 229 and the 225 fits in it just fine. It's a tad bit loose - but I can rotate the holster upside down and the gun won't fall out. The dimensions of the slide width show the 225A1 about .25" narrower than the 229. So, in a perfect world, you'd want to order up a 225A1 holster.

Second on the Garrett Industries. Something about leather inside and kydex outside just works.
