I got this last week and tried it out today. 265 rounds of various loads with no hiccups. The sights were dead on from the factory.

On this target all PMC 115gr fmj; the middle three were off hand from 10 yards. The top three were from 25 yards - 1 flyer. The bottom group was also 25 yards fired a little too fast. All shots fired at 25 yards were supported on a newspaper stand.

On this target all rounds were Speer Gold Dot HP from 25 yards. The top group was 124gr. The center group was 124gr +P. The groups on the left, bottom, and right were 147gr. At first I thought it didn't like the 147 but then when I shot the right side group I realized I had to do my part. All together 105 rounds of the HP's with no issues.

I can confirm the right side safety has to go. At first I really liked it because it was so easy to use to put it back on safe when I finished my string. But by the time I finished, I had a nice little blister that I had ruptured.

I did not think I was going to like the metal rails/arms of the brace but they were not a problem at all. So I will be keeping it as is. The iron sights are hard to pick up compared to a red dot but they are very good when you do your part. (I think I have been spoiled by red dots) I imagine I'll change that safety, get a red dot, and a sling.

I bought 6 of the Magpul magazines for it and they all were great in addition to the two mags supplied by the factory.

I kicked myself for waiting till now to get one when I probably could have gotten for a couple hundred dollars less 6 months ago. But after shooting it today, I am very pleased with it regardless of price.

I put a few mags through a full auto Scorpion over 4th of July weekend, it was a fun gun to shoot!

I have a micro Scorpion as my bedside gun. It is dead on accurate. It is a hoot to shoot. HBI is soon be your friend. A lot of great parts for the Scorpion.

Yeah, you'll succumb to HBI eventually as well. Mine added a new grip, "K" length barrel and rail, among other things. Big Grin

HBI has taken a small chunk of my money the last month for the Scorpion I picked up recently. The trigger spring and the safety lever modifications are both well worth their weight in gold. Likewise, I would recommend either the Magpul mag release or one of the examples HBI sells.

Congratulations on a fun gun. HBI is the go to for accessories. The AK safety lever is a must.

I used HB Industries CZ Scorpion EVO3 Safety Delete for the right hand side to avoid those irritations on my right hand index finger like you did.

Also installed CZ Scorpion EVO3 Reduced Weight Trigger Spring Kit and THETA STOCK Trigger and definitely made a different in the trigger feeling . The CZ pistol grip angle to me was atrocious, so I installed the CZ Scorpion Pakse Pathfinder Grip. Definitely a big difference and recommended.

If you ever want to change your charging handle , avoid any metal type custom charging handle. It will scour your aluminum hand guard/rail and it also has a sluggish feel when charging vs polymer based charging handles. Go with the Pro Stock version.

I went with the HBI Spring Kit, charging handle, and left side AK Style lever, but went with the TandemKross trigger, mag release, and right side safety lever delete. Ordered a Magpul pistol grip from Brownells, but they sent me an Apex instead, but of course the Magpul is out of stock now so I just went with it. Still better than the stock pistol grip.

Great night stand gun, blows any pistol out of the water in accuracy and quick repetitive shots on target.

I have several 9MM carbines, but that one will be next. Im still rocking a Beretta storm carbine with its 30 round magazines that I bought for $100 years ago from an idiot.

Thank you for sharing! Now you have me looking into one of these. Maybe after the current madness slows down and supplies come back.

A few weeks ago I got to play with my nephew's Scorpion pistol with a side-folding brace on it. Damn, that's a neat little gun! Immediately thought how great of a back-pack set-up it would make.

PCCs never really moved the needle for me, but that little Scorpion might have caused me to add one to the future buy list. Big Grin

(Just kidding, I know it's not the Classifieds)
I've always liked the looks of the Storm Carbine - but damn their proud of them now.

I've got one and absolutely love it. It's got a TLR7 where the hand stop used to be and it lives next to my bed at night. Fun, reliable, accurate gun.

That's a deal on the Beretta. I bought a Storm about 6 years ago and it is my current closet/night stand gun. (Not quite ready to put the CZ in service yet) I really like the Beretta but I'm still concerned about the trigger housing issues. In doing some reading, I think mine was produced when they were having some problems. I haven't had any problems and it's been 100% without any failures. Plus, I'll just be honest and say I wanted something new...

Thanks guys for the info on the available aftermarket parts. I'm sure I'll be making some changes in the near future. HBI looks like the place to go.

I agree these guns are pretty damn good. I’ve run about 700 rounds of various ammo through mine with no problems. I just ordered the HBI AK safety and I’ll probably be upgrading more as I go along.
Mine is sitting on my nightstand right now!

Good mods:

- Factory side folder arm with Gearhead Works adapter and Tailhook MOD1c. This is the best brace setup by far.

- Gearhead Works extended mag release. Solid Aluminum instead of plastic.

- Apex grip. Much more vertical and very grippy and you can still remove the trigger housing to remove the bolt and clean.

- Apex extended safeties. HK-ish if you like that, but interferes with the factory side folder...

- Apex low profile safety. Does not interfere with factory side folder.

Not so good mods:

- Magpul grip. Have to beat it on with a mallet, it looks completely out of place, exposes the rear trigger guard frame, and then you cannot remove the trigger housing. Seriously. It is the single worst Magpul product I've ever bought.

- Any safety that goes down to safe and up to fire. Sorry but this is wrong and will confuse people, which is not good.

Interesting mods:

Franklin binary trigger because that would be as close to a sub gun as I'll ever own, and the Scorpion was built to handle FA. No binary is available for the MPX and they kill trigger groups anyway.
