I am in the market for a new EDC pistol. I sold my original P365 that I have carried for years. I am thinking about getting an Sig P365 AXG Legion to replace it. Just curious if anyone uses this pistol as their EDC and if so, what are your thoughts on the gun.

Thanks...

Great pistol!
Great Winter and Fall carry. Too big and heavy for me to carry in the Spring and Summer.

Thank you! It will be a Fall/Winter carry for me as well. I have other options for the spring/summer. I appreciate your input.

I have a 365 Legion that I picked up recently. It has an enclosed Romeo X Compact on it. It’s a better fit for me due to large hands. Trigger feel is about the same as the other 365s. The major upgrades are the aluminum frame with the mag well and the compensator. The gun seems to be easier to keep on target for quick follow up shots. Just got a IWB holster in yesterday. The frame size is different enough that it will not fit in any of your 365 holsters, though it does fit in a G19 IWB holster I have that has a leather liner in it, though I had to tighten up the holster quite a bit. When it comes to holsters keep in mind that there are Gen 1 and 2 models of the 365 Legion.

I already had 365 and a 365XL both with the Wilson Combat grip modules and the tungsten grip weights. I’ve been shooting 365s for a while now.

Have one with a Romeo X Compact Enclosed red dot on it. Works well, have a Galco Hawkeye IWB leather holster for it. I like the holster in that it provides protection for the optic. It is a little bit bigger and heavier than I was anticipating. It's definitely doable, I transitioned from lightweight 1911 Commanders to this setup.

I just find myself kind of looking for a Goldilocks gun between it and my standard P365. Thinking maybe a P365XL just to be a little lighter and shorter in the grip.

My 365xl with an optic weights 3 oz less than 365 Legion - empty without mags. My XL has the tungsten weight kit in the Wilson Combat grip module that adds 1.5 oz to the grip module weight. So I guess a 365xl with the OEM grip module would weigh 4.5 oz less than a Legion.

The nice thing is you can just get a different grip module for the summer. I went with a fuse but like the axg legion quite a bit when I shot it. My 365 goes between a Flux chasis, Fuse grip and a mirzon (short stack) grip.

I have been looking at this pistol. I just wish they offer a model with a thumb safety.

Anyone seen the new P226 X-Carry Legion? I saw one in person (SAO). Felt good in my hand. I want to see the DA/SA version also.
