What’s everyone getting for an out of the box CZ P10/P10c trigger pull weight? Mine is breaking about 5.5#, which feels decent though not quite as light as I was led to believe to expect. I will say it feels lighter off the reset.

Based on experience with most of my other striker guns I assume with a few hundred rounds it would come down closer to the 5# even range, maybe even a bit under, and that would be just fine.

Less P10 ownership than I anticipated I guess on here.

I shot my P 10C the other day for the first time I would say for me it feels more like 4 to 4.5 trigger pull I love it it’s an absolute tack driver. I shot the black area out of the target I would go as far as to say good or better trigger as my Walther PDP and HK VP9 I hope this helps you.

Haven't actually weighed either of mine now that I think about it. I have one with an Overwatch trigger and the other is stock. Both are laser beams.

Did some researching and apparently CZ says the trigger should settle in to 4.5-5# after initial break in so we shall see.

Seems like these are quite popular and many say they like them better than their Glocks. I doubt that I will, but I haven’t had it to the range yet.

Lighter than a Glock. Reset is also shorter.

PSA had the P10C on clearance last week for $299 . That was a steal. Too bad they don't ship to communist states. I don't blame them.

I have 2 P10C’s. The stock trigger, to me, is easily better in every quantifiable way than any stock Glock trigger I’ve ever owned. It is a great stock glocklike trigger. I don’t know what the # is but it is in the Glock range but the crispness is way better. No mush whatsoever. Great reset too but I think Glock has a great reset as well. I easily prefer the P10 trigger.

That PSA $299 deal was what I got. Somehow I got the email before they were sold out.

That was a great deal. I thought about it but I don’t need more. You scored and will be very happy I believe.

My recollection was the original P10 had an unusual ambi mag release that didn’t work quite right. They changed it to a more normal single sided one and maybe Apex sold a fix for the originals. I put the fixed one in and no issues. I believe the issue was that it worked but it could take a ridiculous amount of force to drop mag, I may be remembering this slightly off.

^^^^^Yes you had it right. First gen apparently had some stiffness in mag release and even slide levers. This one must be second gen as it has single side and everything is extremely smooth and well fit and finished. For the price I’m impressed as it seems to compete with the Glock 19, which I have and love as well though it’s about 3-4 bills more.

CZ and Canik are the best value out there currently. Can't go wrong with either.

Link Cajun Upgrade Kit

Cajun Gunworks has an upgrade kit for the P-10 line it's not a performance level kit like they offer for the other CZ lines I have not used it but Cajun is well known for CZ firearm improvements.

dang it, I got to get off their web page or I"ll end up with a Performance upgrade kit for my P-09

I just got the P10-C OR myself. $350 with NS, optics plate, and 3 mags. How do you pass on that? One bummer: there was a rebate on them last year. If you started filling out the form, it updated to 2023. So it looked like they’d renewed the rebate. Until you go to put the model in and it only has shotguns and whatever, not the P10. Oh well. $350 is still pretty good.

Anyway, I was just playing with the trigger. Don’t have a gauge, but I’d put it around 5-5.5. It’s better than a Glock. Probably a bit better than my 509. About on par with the VP9, which is beat by the P320 and PPQ. I don’t think highly of the VP9 trigger. It’s good for an HO, but not good. It’s like a 3 stage trigger. The CZ has a bit of sponge at first, which is probably the striker safety. The there’s creep. It’s making me wonder how much sear engagement surface there is. It felt like a quarter inch! Okay, that’s an exaggeration, but it’s not clean. Reset is fine.

Having covered all that, I don’t really care about trigger pull much. I started with TDA, and practiced that first shot a lot. So I’m used to a lot of pull (weight and distance). I think having a less than stellar trigger makes you a better shooter. So I’ll care if it’s super heavy or super light, or a reset that’s extraordinary long (where I might short stroke the follow ups). Otherwise, I just stick to fundamentals and don’t worry about the feel too much.

And I’d never seen a snap cap with replaceable cushions be included before. Kinda neat.

I didn’t get the included snap cap and cushions, is this a thing with only the optic ready models?

Yes, definitely has a better trigger than a Glock. Then again, MOST striker guns these days have a better trigger than Glocks do. When it comes to Glocks and their triggers, it's not exactly a high bar that they're setting. Glocks generally make it up in other ways. On the other hand, within my own cache of striker pistols I still think Walther does their striker triggers a tad better than my P-10C's, and NO ONE does it quite as satisfyingly as Canik does.

Oh, and I did notice the factory price drops for P-10 models from CZ-USA. Not much different than what Beretta did for the APX a while ago. When a gun model isn't selling...

I got a base model P-10C like yours last month, and it came w/ the snap cap you see in BuddyChryst's photo. I've owned many CZ handguns. Occasionally they came w/ that snap cap. This was my first time seeing one included w/ a striker fired gun. I can't figure any rhyme or reason as to when they're included. It makes sense to include them w/ their hammer fired guns, b/c 75B platform guns are known for relatively fragile firing pin block roll pins that break from repeated dry-firing.

Maybe I need to check my case again then when I get back into town. Perhaps they stuffed it in the backstraps slot.

Where were they $350 for an OR model?

I'm looking for one.

The major drop shippers were blowing the p10C OR out for 350 but are stocked out at present. I would hold off until the distributors get them back in stock if you can.
