M&P sights off

Found out the hard way that my sights on my new M@P 2.0 compact are off.
Looks like an easy fix, but it ruined my idpa match last Saturday!

Stupid question but are you sure it's the sights? Ask someone else to shoot it. Most of my M&P triggers wouldn't break without the front sight moving to the left right at the break, no matter how carefully or slowly I pressed. Apex sorted them.

OTOH I've had a P220 and now a Beretta Brig that printed like 6" low at 15 yards. Nothing to do in that case but swap the sights out. Or change ammo I guess...

What do you mean by "off"? A little more detail might help us, help you.

Rom 13:4 If you do evil, be afraid. For he does not bear the sword in vain. For he is God's minister, an avenger to execute wrath on him who practices evil.

Yep, exact same thing on my 5" 9 Pro during steel challenge match. Happened twice. The sight had slid all the way over to the right. Wondered why I couldn't hit a giant plate at 8 yards, lol.
A drop of blue Loctite is my new friend. I'm not selling the gun, and it's zeroed in.

I would not expect blue loctite to hold up to the heat for very long. Best bet is to properly fit a new set of sights.

If you have more problems after applying blue loctite, simply step up to red loctite. I think it likely that the blue loctite will hold up.

I’ve melted red loctite in a front sight. Granted I shoot more than most.
