So I go to the range today and on the way out browse the wares and what do I see but this fine piece.

I have never seen a Hi-Point with custom wood grips and this just made me chuckle a little bit. Truth be told most Hi-Point are......well we will say serviceable but I can't imagine somebody dressing one up.
Enjoy....

HRKlooks like they stripped the upper as well, needs gold grip screws, lock, and trigger....
For the money they are a pretty good buy for a truck, tractor, boat gun....
Especially boats, since they can serve as a second anchor...

P250UA5But how much did they mark it up for the custom work? Doubting that's a HP factory offering?

egregoreIf not factory grips, that is some very good woodworking. The shaping and inletting are, if not professional, definitely the work of a craftsman.

NismoIt's not real wood. It is most likely hydro-dipped in wood pattern.

MuddflapSo, did you buy it?
The range I visit has had a 9mm in their case for a couple months. I have to admit I have been tempted a couple times. Just curiosity.

Gee as much as I would have loved to.

I just don’t have the room.

I actually never even took note of the price.

ScoobaruThe distressed Zamak is a finish I had not seen before... I think I'd name it "Sad Zinc."
