The non-laser version, specifically

I'm thinking about one for my gen5 G26. Reading the reviews on Amazon, I see a few comments about one or both switches not working, or the unit failing after a short time. These comments can be misleading, since they are few, and people are more apt to bitch than to praise, so...

The WML is necessarily small, of course, and lightly built, but apparently stout enough to stand up to recoil. I wish it had a more convenient switch system.

I'd just like to hear comments from longtime users of this light before I commit. I know we do have some TLR-6 users here.

I have three of them (G26g4, G19x and G43x) with zero problems although the mounted pistols have low mileage. No battery drain, and zero-drift from shooting from what I can see. All three are laser + light combo. The cheapskate in me appreciates the fact that mounting them doesn't mar the cheapo Glock frames. Bezos has upped the price of them on AMZ to the point that I can't/won't be getting another.

I have one on my G42, and my father has one on his G43. No issues with either, although both pistols don’t get the most range time. I believe Streamlight has a new HD model that puts out 300 lumens. I’m not a fan of rechargeable batteries, but it’s hard to argue with the performance increase on paper.

Had one when they first came out on my Glock 33. Held up fine. Even took some dog bites near the laser.

FYI, don't use LR44 batteries. It's inconsistent. Spring for the CR 1/3N

I haven't used mine in a few years since I sold my 33 to a coworker and she didn't want the light/laser. I'll have to dig it out and see if it still works.

found it. grabbed a forfeited gen5 26 from the armory. fits perfect. batteries are still good. Of course holster is no where to be found. lol

I got the light yesterday. When you first see pics of how they are mounted on the pistol, you say "That can't be very secure" but the truth is that the TLR-6 is quite solidly mounted to the pistol.

It even barely and I mean just barely fits into my G26 Wilderness Safepacker. A very tight fit, but, fit it does.

The light is plenty bright for my purposes. I just wish Streamlight had figured a way to incorporate rear-facing switches. Activating the light with one hand requires relinquishing a firing grip.

All in all, I'm quite pleased with the light. I paid 75 dollars for it and I consider it a bargain.
