Did a few searches, looks like it'll fit a 320 compact OK, other than the 1/2 inch extra length of the holster. I used to shoot P229s a lot. This gun looks like a P229, has the same bbl length, I guess I am curious if anybody has every tried a P320X Compact in a P229 holster. Let me know what you think. Thanks.

The P320 X-Compact has 3.6-inch bbl. The P229 barrel is 3.9. Plus, the 2 guns have such differences in slide profiles, why not get the right holster for the right gun? For example, Comp-Tac makes holster specifically for the P320 X-Compact.

I have holsters for the P229 without the hooked trigger guard.
A P320 XCompact will fit most of the way into a well-worn leather Galco Concealable holster, but not fully. The P320 XCompact will not fit into Kydex holsters for the P226 or P229. The problem is evidently that the front of the P320 slide is wider.
