I have a stripped lower I've been toying with building into a .300 BLK pistol. I have been fascinated with the chambering ever since it came out. A lower cost AR pistol will give me lots of carry options along with my CHL, hiking, truck gun etc...

I had no plans to start the project and lately have been doing complete builds, but holy crap, I can't resist this price!

Mlock upper, includes mil spec BCG, charging handle and melonite/nitride barrel? For $260? Um...ok. Hard to get a halfway decent barrel and upper for that nevermind the BCG, CH, and rail!

I think I'm gonna stick with the one I ordered since I want the ability to mount a can down the road. It is shorter, lighter, and saves $40. I'll probably skip the BUIS as well and just put a decent RDS on it.

AR prices are crazy, I just got 10x Troy battle mags for $6 each the other day...glad I never paid panic prices for anything!

But nothing is wrong with my current one. It's got a 12" handguard and the suppressor sticks out a little. I might swap to a 15" handguard just to change it up.

I've been eyeing their $200 .300 uppers that don't have a BCG and CH for a while. Debating between cannibalizing my 5.56 pistol and just using one of my spare stripped lowers.

I think I'll get a build started after I get a suppressor started.

I'm thinking a PDW brace, 8.5" barrel, suppressor, Lehigh subsonic max expansion rounds, and an Aimpoint T1. Replace my 5.56 14.5" bedside AR.

I hate PSA. Too much temptation...
