Sig p220 grip options?
Is there a grip for the p220 that will shorten the distance from the back of the grip to the trigger? I don’t really want to change out the trigger if I don’t have to, it’s got a great trigger. Thank you.

The shortest you're going to get would be the E2 grip kit: https://www.sigsauer.com/store...-for-p220-da-sa.html

This may involve changing out the mainspring seat and hammer strut, but unless your P220 is really ancient, everything you need should be in the kit.

Just so you know, changing out the standard trigger and replacing it with the Sig "short reach" trigger will have no effect on the trigger pull on your P220. The trigger itself is little more than a lever that moves the trigger bar when pulled.

There are also Sig "slim grips" that make it easier to reach the trigger.

The checkered aluminum grips should serve you well.

I like mine.

I am a big fan of the E2 grips. I think they are the bee's knees. Very comfortable to hold and carry. Of course now that they are no longer in production, they are getting harder to find, somewhat. Aluminum grips are also great but will give you a chill if you use them for carry iwb.

I hate the short triggers Sig uses as I always find a way to pinch my finger with every pull. The standard trigger is best suited for me.

I have small hands and have switched to Hogue G10 grips on all my P series Sigs. They definitely shorten the reach.

Hogue G10 were the best I found for a P220 - factory was too big and slick, factory slim were sorta better but felt strange.
