What and how does your wife carry?
I need to have a serious sit down with my wife and talk about her starting to carry a gun. Our local PD arrested a scum bag at the mall trying to force his way into a woman vehicle. The night court judge downtown let the homeless male with out of state warrants go without bail. He returns to the police station and tried to force his way into the secure police door.

I’m curious how the ladies are carrying. I would assume purse carry is the most common method but my wife has downsizes to a small purse that barely hold a wallet and keys. She also does not wear belts.

My stepmom carries a P365MS in her purse with a trigger cover on it.

My wife has a LC9 that I need to get her a holster for.
Probably going to go with a belly band type, as she doesn't typically wear a belt nor IWB-able pants.

My mother-in-law carries a Hellcat AIWB in a Vedder, IIRC.

I bought my wife a dedicated carry purse with a separate compartment for her M&P Compact 1.0

When she doesn't carry, she at least has a Kershaw Blur on her.

Ex wife carries a Sig 938 in a sticky holster. She picked out the holster after a few ideas I gave her.
She's out in SLC but called me for ideas of pistols and holsters.

My wife has been EDCing since the mid 80s, lots of different guns over the years and different methods to suit her needs. In Dec 2006 she made the switch to the Glock 26, it's been her EDC since then. Carried daily from sunup to sundown in a FIST ultra-thin kydex IWB holster. Her belt is a 1 1/4" belt (Kramer, Galco, or Safariland) and the holster's leather lopes are 1 1/4" to match the belt. Off-side Comp Tac single mag pouch.

She also has a belly band, Kramer OWB belt scabbard, and fanny pack for carrying when needed. An important thing that she tells those that inquire, is that all of her clothes shopping is done with concealed carry in mind. An important part of the equation.

My wife has been working remotely since the pandemic so she wears more athleisure styles and carries a pocket .380 either in her leggings or in the cardigan she wears during cooler days. Women's fashion is much less forgiving for concealed carry and I imagine if she goes back into the office full time we would have to re-examine her options and she would like opt to begin carrying off-body in a purse.

Mrs. Flash sustained some injuries and because of that had to go to a lower recoil gun a while back.

So she carries a G42 Glock.

My wife carries a S&W 432PD in her purse most of the time. She has a couple other options but this one seems to be the one she is most comfortable with.

She liked my 637 so much she's carrying it now. She much prefers it over the G19. I ordered another one.

A small, lightweight, dependable, reasonably priced wheel gun; I think everybody ought to carry one, perhaps even two!

CPD SIG
I got the His & Hers G-43x a while back, a handful of the Shield Arms 15rd mags, and the OEM G-43x mags.

My 43x seems to have replaced my G-19.

On to Mrs CPD Sig…
Sweet Baby Jesus, woman!!!! Would you please carry the damn thing! Mad
I’ve taken her to the range more than a few times, and she’s comfortable shooting it. Ant this point, she’s over her fear of the loud noise.
I’ve been trying to start slow with her. Carry it around the house unloaded. Scatter in a few draw and fire drills. Then move on to loaded, then one day and hopefully soon, start carrying it out of the house.

She’s all for it, but for some reason, just reluctant to actually DO it.

Miss Slowlane carries a CZ P01 decocker. I wanted her to carry my P938 but she doesn’t like the grips, too aggressive she says. She loves the rubber grips on the CZ. She carries it in her purse. I asked her one day to show me how she carries it in her purse, it took her forever to get the pistol out she was having problems finding it. How in the world can a person loose a pistol the size of the P01 in a medium size purse.

Mine prefers to carry a Glock 42 in a IWB kydex holster. I liked it so much, I do the same.
