Let's see some S&W Performance Center goodness....
I picked up this 637-2 PC over the weekend. This is my first PC gun, and I must say that it has the slickest action of any S&W revolver I've ever owned.
Let's see your PC guns!

So how about a (maybe not quite so large) picture of the 681 PC?
The Smith & Wesson Performance Center used to be an actual custom shop. Now its just a name they put on models that have a few drop in upgrades off the assembly line.
The PC autos of a decade or two ago were amazing pistols, but they are getting pretty damn expensive. All were built to tight tolerances and feature the Briley bushing to lock things down at the muzzle. They are among my most accurate pistols.

How does the shorty 627 handle full house .357 defensive loads? Would you consider it for a carry gun?

With a good belt and holster it is absolutely carriable but I am an OWB guy. IWB I imagine it would be too thick. Either mode it is a heavy gun.
As for handling defensive .357 recoil really isn’t an issue but what you cannot escape with .357 Maggie especially in a short barrel is blast and concussion.
It’s a fantastic shooter in either .357 or .38.

Here's my one and only. I used to have a 625pc, not sure why I sold that.

Thanks Jelly
I’m a big fan as you can tell.
Nice 845, by the way. One of the most accurate 45ACP’s ever built.

I’m fortunate to have owned a few PC guns over the years. All have been wheel guns. I was smart enough to hold on to most of them.

When I bought my 627-3 (another .357 Magnum 8-Shooter) it looked like this…
But then I sent it back to the factory for work, and now it looks like this.
