Tell me about the B&T 556 Print XH RBS
I’m sure it isn’t the best sounding can out there, but it is light, HUB compatible, and with a $250 gift card plus a 10% off coupon, it’s getting hard to resist.

I see this siting no answers. I can't help in a practical sense, but I thought enough of the new hybrid design and price that I bought one. Have not had time to shoot it. My other B&T ti cans not hybrid but same actual internsals except for the inconel part seem pretty competent overall fwiw.

I decided to go ahead and get one and tried it out yesterday on a 10.5” 5.56. The “hybrid” part is interesting as it’s not a full inconel blast baffle, like I expected. Instead it’s a small disk pinned to the center of the first titanium baffle that protects the center hole of the baffle only. The can is pretty lightweight for its size, which is large. I was comparing it against the Griffin DL5 AM, which is 1.5” shorter and 0.25” smaller in diameter, but heavier and had higher backpressure. Both sounded about the same to me at the indoor range I was shooting at. There was some sparking, but I hope that gets better over time.

Thanks for the write up. I was considering grabbing one from Shooter's Choice as their price seems to be one of the least expensive 3-D printed low-backpressure cans. It even comes with a Plan B style mount which I'm swapping most of my stuff out for. Interesting how B&T markets the inconel blast baffle as having a more significant presence then it seems in the can.

We have a new guy to our group. He's one of the guys from the huge local B&T dealer and an absolute B&T fanatic. As of this weekend, I believe he has every one of their current Print-X cans, so hopefully next weekend or the following, we'll get to get out there and compare and contrast them. I intend to take notes and give another writeup. This can, I believe, is one of them.

I only have 10 or so rounds thru one the last 2 years at Capitol Armory demo. I love the idea of the inconel blast chamber and Ti baffles, I hope more companies will go this route. I thought sound was middle of the road, but sure liked the 10 oz weight. I have strongly considered one, but so far have stuck with full inconel. I hope B&T will keep going down this path with a version 2.0.
