I wanted to ask if anyone here has one of these covers and if so are they happy with this type cover? Version 1 https://mantadefense.com/product/suppressor-cover/ Version 2 https://mantadefense.com/produ...v2-suppressor-cover/ If you have a better cover do not hesitate to share your experiences please. Having several suppressors this is one area I am lacking knowledge and experience in. My first cover will be for me SilencerCo Omega 300 that I use mainly on my bolt action 308 (not rapid fire). My second cover will be for my second SilencerCo Omega 300 that I use on my AR platforms (mainly 300 B/O), and I do not do mag dumps but I may shoot a drill that expends 8-10 rounds in 5-10 seconds. Thanks in advance for any support and recommendations. This message has been edited. Last edited by: sigarmsp226,

I don't have any Covers for my Suppressors (yet), but they seem like a good idea. I'll likely be purchasing a few in the future, but honestly, I wouldn't buy the Mantra Suppressor Covers on looks alone! You know, SilencerCo sells Suppressor Covers... https://silencerco.com/shop/gear I believe (99% sure) they're actually made by Cole-TAC, whose covers have an excellent reputation. I've looked closely at Cole-TAC and read a lot of positive reviews...They should definitely be on your list: https://www.cole-tac.com/produ...m-suppressor-covers/ Another one worthy of consideration is Armageddon Gear: https://armageddongear.com/pro...s/suppressor-covers/ Both are Made in the USA, but personally, I'm leaning towards Cole-TAC ____________________________________________________________ If Some is Good, and More is Better.....then Too Much, is Just Enough !! While I like the idea of them, I've found them to be pretty bulky. YMMV, of course. The Cole-Tac HTP I have is very well made, but I don't think it was sized very well, despite me giving them measurements. There is quite a bit of overlap when it wraps around the can. That makes it VERY thick. I may try again with a model that doesn't have the liner. I'm not doing mag dumps. A model that uses the cords instead of Velcro straps would probably help keep it slimmer, too. I may try the Armageddon Gear version. I have a couple of their shooting bags and like them. ________________________________________ -- Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration. I had a manta cover on my 10.5" SBR AR. It caught on fire and I had to kick it off and watched it burn to nothing. I have a Cole Tac cover on my B&T Rotex on my HK416. It has been great even when shot on select fire. I have an Armageddon cover on my bolt actions with TBAC cans. I'd recommend these for bolt action/slower rates of fire. The Cole Tac:
