Thinking of getting a rifle threaded...cost?
Sure, rates will among gunsmiths, but anyone care to ballpark me what getting the muzzle of a 10/22 threaded for suppression will cost?

Thanks

I have no idea how TBAC’s cost compares with others, but it’s one figure:

I have no idea from practical experience. But for sure you want to make sure its way less than a new barrel which are very inexpensive. And of course depending on which 10/22 you have it may not even be possible to thread it.

Which is of course more than I can buy a factory threaded barrel for... Of course this all depends on what is the original barrel and what is your tolerance for a replacement specification.

If yours is a 10/22 Takedown, you could always get an integrally suppressed barrel for it. But those are hard to find.

Or you could get a threaded barrel takedown assembley (I don't know if I'm wording it correctly) and just attach it. Might be cheaper than threading the barrel.

Yes, the one I want to have threaded is the takedown model. I've ordered a barrel assembly from Ruger but they are currently out of stock, so just a matter of time now.
