really short barreled 5.56 is not my specialty so I don't know if there are some that make surviving that situation better. But absent other considerations I'd do PlanB. Finding suppressors that will survive on a sub 8" barrel is tough. Probably have to pick from those made of Haynes 282 and the like. And each of those probably has some restrictions on what you should pick from even if they are HUB. So I'd pick a suppressor that allows that barrel in 5.56 and ask them what to use. This is a very restrictive case.

Check out Rugged... most of their center fire line doesn't have barrel length restrictions.

Thanks for help. Going with Rearden Plan B flash hider with 25 degree taper. Will use their hub.
Will do same for 300 Blackout.

Still looking at suppresssors rated for short barrels.

I haven’t looked at the details of their newest offerings, but years ago I went with a Griffin Armament Paladin/Alpha .300 HD. It is rated for up to .300WM, and uses their taper mount system. It has no barrel length restriction in their warranty, and I keep it on my 7.5” SBR AR with Adams Arms Tac Evo upper. It does a great job of suppressing 5.56mm, but on the 7.5” upper it is scalding hot after two mags.

If you go under 10.3" barrels that list of what will work gets short. The SilencerCo Velos models do not have barrel length restrictions. Primary Arms has had them on sale in the last few weeks.

I have the 556k and the 762 and am pretty happy with them. Yes the k isn't the quietest, but you know that going in and it absolutely tames the blast down. They come with ASR mount and muzzle device in the box. If you want to go aftermarket, you can buy a Plan B setup from Rearden. The Velos are not HUB mount, they are Charlie, but Rearden makes Charlie/Plan B mounts.

Dead Air Lazarus also does not have barrel restrictions and comes with muzzle device and mount in the box. I would pick Xeno mount over Keymo.

Plan B is a solid general answer for muzzle devices and mounts, you can make almost anything work with that system. I would be looking at Inconel or Haynes 282 cans, Titanium is not going to be rated for short barrels.
