I have really liked my 22/45 MKIII, I haven't had any types of malfunctions using it suppressed or unsuppressed. Is it the best? I don't know but I would rank it up there pretty high. David W. Rather fail with honor than succeed by fraud. -Sophocles

Just a quick update. The Walther PPQ 5" 22LR I picked up. I've ran 1,000 rounds through it with 90% of them being suppressed. So far I've had zero malfunctions. I've yet to clean it. Today I got my hands on some 60gn subsonic rounds. They cycled it %100 for the box of 50 I ran through it. Quieter than a mouse fart. The trigger reset is meh... But other wise it's been a great pistol. Train how you intend to Fight Remember - Training is not sparring. Sparring is not fighting. Fighting is not combat.

Had a SR22 and a 22/45 Lite - both good hosts. Would not cycle CCI Quiet at all but no issues with other subsonics. The 22/45 does a particularly good job with Winchester subsonic.

I'll second (or third or whatever) the S&W M&P 22 compact. It's awesome. Lightweight, cycles 100% with various ammo types, and is quieter than my Buckmark.
