I recently ordered an Sig P320 and should be able to pick it up tomorrow https://www.sigsauer.com/swg .It is actually a P320978. I plan to get a threaded barrel for it and am curious of recommendations for suppressors. I want one I can disassemble myself to be able to clean. The only pistol suppressor I currently have is a SilencerCo Octane45K. Maybe the suppressor I have is good enough as I use it on two other Sigs, but I would like to have a dedicated 9mm version. I appreciate any input.

I'm pretty sure that a 9mm handgun offers about the maximum number of choices for a suppressor. It would be literally impossible IMO to provide a recommendation that is based solely on caliber. I have a bunch of these but which might be good options for you to investigate. What's important to you? size? weight? length? price? material? etc. etc. I get you want one you can disassemble. Maybe a few words on what you would like it to optimize?

I wrote a whole response, but somehow it got erased and not going to re-write it. Something I can disassemble, good at reducing sound, made of SS or titanium, and well reviewed and reliable. I don’t care about weight, size shape, color, etc.

I didn’t see the greatest of reviews on Sig’s 9mm silencer.

OK there are so many good choices. And this is changing all the time.
Things I can recommend from personal use over an extended period of time.
Rugged Obsidian 9 (its configurable, but I run it long)
Surefire Ryder 9 Ti
Things I can recommend from personal use but not extensive yet
Huxwurx (outside testing says its not one of the quiet options)
DA Majave (this seems like a winner to me, Its been great in initial testing but I have not had it very long.
Things I would not recommend based on my actual use.
DA Wolfman (flunks you dissasembly rule anyway)
B&T SRBS (also flunks your rule)
Omega 9k (this one is really, really light but I don't like the sound). others however love it. YMMV.

I probably own something else I'm not thinking of so I'll edit it if I do...

Edited to add, if I wanted something right now I would also investigate the CAT and the Vent2 based on what I see on my favorite sound testing site, but alas not in the card for me at the moment...

I use the Silencerco Osprey 45. Gives me multicaliber use with one suppressor. Only have to change the booster for different calibers/thread pitch. Can use it on the Glock 19, Sig P220, P226, and the FNX 45. Also do not have to have suppressor height sights to see where I am aiming. Is also easy to take apart and clean.

You have an Osprey that you can disassemble? Neither my Osprey 9 (Gen 1) or Osprey 45 (Gen 2) can be taken apart for cleaning. Plus, the non-removable monocore baffle is made of aluminum, not SS or titanium.

pew science just posted the review of the mojave 9 and includes lots of other 9mm choices in their normal comparison chart. Its not very much better than my favorite Obsidian 9 in this pistol application, but I'm hoping its better on gas on 'K' length subguns (not yet tested very much). if noise is your be all end all the CAT seems quite impressive. EDITED to add. the CAT has no 3lug so its of no interest to me.

I’ll add the Silencer Co Spectre, looking into that and compare your options. Let us know what you end of deciding on.

The SilencerCo Spectre 9 would be a superb choice. Quiet and light.
